AUSTIN, Texas -- The Oklahoma State Cowboys lost their third-straight Sunday, as the Texas Longhorns made a clean sweep of a three-game series with a 9-3 victory.
The Pokes’ (23-16) struggles continued against the No. 2 Longhorns (34-7) in the final game, having lost Friday 14-1 and Saturday 5-0.

Andrew Heaney (3-1) finished with the loss after giving up five runs and six hits in 3.1 innings.
Texas’ win marked the 16th-straight win for the Longhorns, led by the pitching of Brandon Workman.
Workman (8-1) went 6.2 innings and gave up three runs on eight hits. He struck out nine batters during his time on the mound.
The Longhorns took control of the game early, posting a run in each of the first five innings. The Cowboys attempted to answer back, posting one run in the sixth, followed by two additional runs in the seventh. However, two Longhorn runs sealed the loss for OSU.
The Cowboys will look to end their losing ways Tuesday when they host Texas A&M University at 6:30 p.m.
