STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma State University forward Matt Pilgrim was served an emergency protective order Monday. The order was sought by a female OSU student.
According to an incident report filed with Oklahoma State University police, the woman claims Pilgrim raped her at Smith Hall, where she lived, on April 12. She then claims he harassed her outside of her apartment building on May 2, according to the protective order.
No charges have been filed against Pilgrim, nor has he been arrested.
A protective order is an edict by the court which intends to prevent physical or mental abuse from one person to another. No charges or wrongdoing need to be proven to file for a protective order.

Oklahoma State Director of Communications Gary Shutt says the incident was reported on the afternoon of April 13 to OSU police.
"The student said she was sexually abused and declined to assist in the prosecution of the case. Then, the case was closed," said Shutt. "In the last several days, the alleged victim has requested to reopen the case."
Payne County District Attorney Robert Hudson said the incident is being investigated by OSU police.
"We will have to review the investigation report to tell whether charges will be filed," said Hudson, who added he expects to see the report from OSU police later this week or next.
A hearing is set for 10 a.m. on May 20 at Payne County Courthouse.
