Courtney Paris was cut by the Chicago Sky Thursday.
The former Sooner was cut after appearing in just one preseason game for the Sky, after scoring four points and grabbing one rebound in 11 minutes of play against Chicago Monday.
Paris was drafted seventh by the Sacramento Monarchs in the 2009 WNBA Draft, but the team folded after the 2009 season and she was selected by Chicago in the dispersal draft. She appeared in 33 games for the Monarchs in her rookie season.
Abi Olajuwon, another former Oklahoma standout, is still on the Chicago Roster.
