NORMAN, Okla.(AP) Add assistant coach Mark Cline's name to a growing list of people leaving Oklahoma's basketball program during a massive overhaul.
Cline took a similar position at Marshall on Thursday, becoming the second assistant to leave Jeff Capel's staff following a 13-18 season. The Sooners have also seen three players declare themselves eligible for the NBA draft, one decide to transfer and another quit to be with his family.
Cline had been one of Capel's assistants for seven years - three at Virginia Commonwealth and four at Oklahoma. But the 45-year-old says he couldn't pass up the opportunity to return to his native West Virginia.
He is the third assistant hired by new Marshall coach Tom Herrion, joining Bill Barton and Dino Presley.
